How many sessions will I need?
We expect to see improvements within the first 6 sessions, in 85-90% of our patients. The first 6 sessions take place over 2-3 weeks, providing rapid and effective results. After this first block of sessions, typically a patient would then be seen weekly, then fortnightly, monthly, then every 2 months etc.
Is the process safe?
The assessment and treatment process is completely safe. We are a medication-free, non-invasive and surgical-free clinic. We avoid exposing your body to any harmful drugs. Treating your condition medication-free is possible.
How successful is the process?
If you fulfil the criteria and are deemed suitable for treatment, we expect a significant improvement to occur quickly in 90% of our patients. We expect to observe these changes within 3-4 weeks from your first consultation.
Do you accept private health or Medicare?
Yes, you are able to claim your rebate on the spot. Please check with your private health insurer whether your insurance covers you for Physiotherapy.
For Medicare-rebatable sessions, eligibility and approval is determined by GP (as a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) but we can help the patient liaise with their GP.
Your GP must provide you with a CDM plan if you would like to receive a Medicare rebate. Your GP makes the clinical judgment as to whether they think you will benefit from a multidisciplinary team care approach.
If you already have a CDM plan in place, this means that your GP has planned and coordinated other healthcare providers (e.g. physiotherapists) to help assist your chronic condition (ongoing for more than 6 months). The CDM plan will entitle you to up to 5 Medicare rebates per calendar year.
Will the treatment last?
Yes, you can achieve long-term results, and you won’t have to receive treatments for the rest of your life. We aim to give you the knowledge and ability to self-manage your headaches and migraines. We will give you simple and specific techniques you can perform yourself, that will help you to stay headache and migraine free.
How will I know the process will work for me?
The secret to the success of our process lies within your first consultation. The primary focus is to identify the underlying cause of your condition. If we can find the underlying cause of your condition, we can determine and deploy a treatment solution to help your condition.
I’ve tried everything. What will you do that is different?
Most of our patients have seen various health practitioners, tried a range of medications, and even undergone surgery. However, many have never visited a dedicated headache clinic that solely treats headaches and migraines. We have a 85-90% success rate though our comprehensive treatment plans tailored to address the specific conditions of each patient.
